HOW TO HAVE X-RAYS
The following X-Ray opening times have been put in place to help maintain social distancing with the Radiology Departments. You DO NOT need a physical x-ray form with you to have the x-ray done. Once the x-ray request has been made by your doctor it is valid for a total of six weeks. You must attend the hospital to have your x-ray done within this six weeks.
Princess Alexandra Hospital - Radiology Department - Area B6, Hamstel Road, Harlow, Essex CM20 1QX
Routine referrals: Monday - Wednesday & Friday 8am-12.30 & 1.30 - 7.45pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-1pm
Urgent referrals: Monday - Friday 8am -7.45pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am- 1pm
St Margaret's Hospital - Radiology Department - The Plain, Epping, Essex CM16 6TN
Urgent & Routine Referrals: Monday -Friday 8am - 4.30pm
Herts & Essex Hospital - Radiology Department - Hyameads Lane, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 5JH
Urgent referrals ONLY: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30 -4.30pm
If you have been sent for tests either x-rays or blood test etc please note that you will be notified of the outcome of these results and where necessary will be asked to make an appointment with your doctor or to make a telephone Consultation with your doctor.
It is not necessary to contact us if you have not heard from us; however, if you do want to call for your results please call 01279 638520 option ;3 between 11am-12pm and 5pm - 6.00pm (Monday to Friday).
